Reconstitution

We recommend
that this vial be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents
to the bottom. Reconstitute in sterile distilled water or aqueous buffer
containing 0.1% BSA to a concentration of 0.1-1.0mg/ml. Stock solutions
should be apportioned into workng aliquots and stored at ≤-20℃. Further dilutions should be made in
appropriate buffered solutions.

Background
|
Human CCL8,
also known as monocyte chemotactic protein 2 (MCP-2), is belonging to the CC
chemokine family. It is encoded by the gene CCL8. MCP-2 has two homogeneous
MCP-1 (CCL2) and MCP-3 (CCL7). These three MCPs were found by IL-1-beta
triggered human MG-63 osteosarcoma cells. CCL8 shares 62% amino acid sequence
identity with MCP-1, and shares 58% amino acid sequence identity with MCP-2.
CCL8 has chemotactic function for monocytes, eosinophils and neutrophils. In
addition, it can also chemoattract activated NK cells.
