纤维状肌动蛋白抗体产品介绍：background: Actins are highly conserved proteins that are involved in various types of cell motility and are ubiquitously expressed in all eukaryotic cells .G-Actin (globular actin) with bound ATP can polymerise to form F-Actin (Filamentious Actin). Actin monomers spiral ariound the axis of the filament similar to a double helix. F-Actin may also undergo a process called treadmilling, in which filament length remains constant and actin monomers add at one end and dissociated at the other. Function: F-actin-capping proteins bind in a Ca(2+)-independent manner to the fast growing ends of actin filaments (barbed end) thereby blocking the exchange of subunits at these ends. Unlike other 纤维状肌动蛋白抗体capping proteins (such as gelsolin and severin), these proteins do not sever actin filaments. Subunit: Heterodimer of an alpha and a beta subunit.
