锌指蛋白DZIP1抗体产品介绍：background: DZIP1 (DAZ interacting protein 1) is also known as DZIP or DZIP2 and is a 867 amino acid protein which is expressed as three isoforms, designated DZIPb, DZIPt1 and DZIPt2. DZIP1 is localized to testis, oocytes, ovary and fetal brain, as well as in embryonic stem cells and germ cells. In testis, DZIP1 is localized to the nucleus and also shows some cytoplasmic distribution in spermatogonia. DZIP1 belongs to the C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, and, characteristc of the C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family, DZIP1 contains one C2H2-type zinc-finger region through which it is thought to interact with DAZ, an interaction that promotes spermiogenesis. DZIP1 expression is not found in those afflicted with Sertoli cell-only syndrome (characterized by the absence of germ cells in the testis), suggesting that the lack of锌指蛋白DZIP1抗体 DZIP1 may be involved in the pathogenesis of Sertoli cell-only syndrome-induced male sterility. Function: DZIP1 may participate in spermatogenesis via its interaction with DAZ. Isoform 1 and isoform 2 interact with DAZ proteins. DZIP1 may also participate in a RNA-binding complex that functions in both ES cells and germ cells. There are three named isoforms. Subcellular Location: Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Note: In testis, it is predominantly nuclear, with some cytoplasmic localization in spermatogonia. Co-localizes with DAZ and DAZL in primordial germ cells. Tissue Specificity: Predominantly锌指蛋白DZIP1抗体 expressed in testis. Also expressed in fetal brain, ***** oocytes and ovary. Expressed in undifferentiated ES cells. In testis, it is probably specifically expressed in germ cells. Expressed in mature germ cells and secondary spermatocytes, while it is weakly or not expressed in primary spermatocytes. Similarity: Belongs to the DZIP C2H2-type zinc-finger protein family. Contains 1 C2H2-type zinc finger.
